Our Story
Veteris is a team of highly qualified pet-loving emergency vet and nurses providing a 24-7 complete emergency cover through efficient phone triaging and technical emergency care in the comfort of your home.
How it started
Veteris was born from the desire to bring to the United Kingdom what it was missing: an out-of-hours home emergency care.
Clara and Louis met practicing home emergency consultations in France. Loving this particular approach to Veterinary Medicine and seeing all its benefits, they realised that a city as tentacular as London would greatly profit from such a service and decide to remedy the situation. Veteris started out small in November 2020. Three Veterinary Surgeons to do it all: triaging, emergency consultation, all while discovering the start-up adventure.
But Veteris quickly grew, made strong by the many owners happy to see us help their pets and the practice ready to give us a chance by trusting us as their out-of-hours service. In the blink of an eye, the first year had passed and Veteris was happy to look back on more than thirty thousand calls, two thousand consultations, large team of twenty. Excited to see what the future holds for us..!
Veteris Ambition
Veteris has been operating for three years and our conceptual idea has now turned into a reality. Thanks to the meaningful feedbacks we have been gathering from pet parents and veterinary practices across London, we are now entering a second stage of development to become the pet emergency care reference for Londoners and Scots, going from Edinburgh to Glasgow.
